Time to Spruce Up!

Posted by Website Administrator on Thursday, February 28, 2019 10:43:28 AM

It is that time of the year where the Board of Directors and Management would like to remind all homeowners and tenants to spruce up their property to maintain and raise their home values.  The following items were noticed on our last property compliance inspection and before notifying specific violations, we wanted to give everyone the opportunity to spring clean.   Our Mid-March compliance inspection will notify homeowners of these items, unless you have already received notice.
  • Pressure wash home, stone work, roof – there is often pollen, mold, mildew from the winter months that wreak havoc on your home and reduce the lifespan of your siding, paint and roof materials.
  • Pressure wash sidewalks, driveways, tile, stepping stones – there is water stains, mold, mildew, algae and moss from the winter months that stain and often cause hazards for injury.  To reduce your homeowner liability, please get your sidewalks and driveways cleaned.
  • Roof inspections – last year many homes in the community were able to replace their roof due to hurricane IRMA, hail and other weather related damage. We encourage you to have your roof inspected.
  • Tree trim, palm trimming, hedge trimming, and landscaping– please take some time to take a look at your trees and hedges, grass growth.
  • Mulch – please take a moment to review your mulching needs and catch the early bird discounts for mulch!
